This is the brush I use for my foundation and the cleanser that I use weekly. Cleaning my makeup brushes was always a pain in the behind. This is the best cleanser I've been able to find. It actually works and doesn't take long to use.
The older I get, the more I miss school. I miss learning. I've taken it upon myself to get creative and find new ways to learn. Stay tuned y'all : )
The latest adventure was a course at SMU put on by Kappa.
What do you do to learn new things? Do you read, attend workshops or conferences? Take courses online? I challenge you to continue to learn, for your entire life. Don't ever settle. Continue to challenge yourself. Always and forever.
Here are the most asked questions, and the answers that go along with them:
1. Are the events for both guys and girls?
No, these events are organized for women only.
2. Are the events for 20/30 year olds?
Yes, but they're also for 40/50/60 year olds. You don't have to be the same age as me to attend.
3. Will the events all be held in Dallas?
As of now, yes. I'm choosing locations located in central Dallas.
Do you have your dress picked out for Easter Sunday? I found the dress I want, now I'm just waiting for it to go one sale.
I first heard about this eyeshadow palette on Brittney Kelley's Instagram. She was sharing her whole makeup routine on her Insta stories. I knew I needed to get new eyeshadow soon. My caviar sticks were about to run out.
Once the caviar sticks had only a few days left worth of use, I placed my order online for this Soft Glam palette. When my Mom was in town we looked at it in store to make sure the colors were just as pretty in person.
Yesterday was the first day to give it a spin. I wore the Bronze on my lids and then applied Rustic in the crease. Today I'm wearing Glistening on my lids and a color called Orange Soda in the crease. This palette is so fun to use! I'm not an expert at makeup. If you're an expert I can't even imagine all the possibilities you'll have with these colors.
The search for a new place is in full effect. I just gave a good 120 days notice. If nothing else, I am a planner. In life, if you cannot plan for it, how good could the occasion possibly be?
The list has been dwindled down to three. Three particular places that I assume will be fine. There was a fourth, but a quick trip proved it to be less than ideal. Big? Absolutely. A garage!?? Why heavens yes. They lost me when they said that there's no washer or dryer. Are we in New York? Last time I checked this is Texas, and my time here should at least come with a way to wash my clothes.
Now that I've looked at everything in person, it's time to stalk each complex online to see what pops up. I'm not too worried about it. I assume something will work out. What's meant to be will always find a way.
You know those days when you just don't feel like yourself? You're stressed and annoyed. Tired, overwhelmed. When you know that you need to turn it around and check your attitude but you just can't. Lord knows we've all been there.
I want to share my playlist with you, the one I select when I need to feel better. Next time you feel down, search for these songs. On YouTube or Spotify. And then CRANK IT UP and dance like your life depended on it.
