I found this strawberry print dress here in Dallas, at the NorthPark Nordstrom. I liked it right away. The material is silky and lightweight, which helps with this heat! I've been favoring tops and dresses with sleeves lately. So much of my wardrobe is sleeveless. These sleeves have little ruffles on them, and did you notice the cute little buttons?
This purse was originally purchased for a day of travel, but has recently become my every day bag for work. It’s shape and color are both classic. It’s perfect for the office.
My suede mules are the shoes in my closet that I reach for often. They match with everything and give you a little height. I found more affordable options and linked those below. Use the arrow to click through.
This red rancher hat is a steal! The price is much less than the other hats available at Free Peope and Anthropologie. It has great reviews and the color is just as gorgeous in person.
Since it’s summer, you probably have seen a lot of strawberry print. Have you seen this little lunch tote ? It’s so cute! If you need new cups for your pool parties or BBQ cookout, take a look at these Kate Spade glasses. Madewell also has a top in the same strawberry print. I’m waiting for this strawberry bag to go on sale at Anthropologie. Last but not least, this over the top dress is one of those things that I wear in my dreams. With a huge summer hat. Maybe at a villa in Italy?
Do you have dry skin? It can be so frustrating. No matter how much water you drink and how religiously you use your moisturizer it can be difficult to deal with. I found this product at Nordstrom. I started using it every single day. The instructions state to use it once at night and again in the morning. This. Stuff. Works! It works so well I decided to use every other day, and only at night. A little goes a long way, and this bottle could easily last a year. Making it worth the price tag. It’s hard to have pretty skin if it’s dry. I wanted to share this product with you just in case you have yet to find something that actually makes a difference. One that makes your skin feel better.
I just saw that it’s sold out at Nordstrom, Sephora, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman. Apparently this product has quite the fan base. My link will take you to the Kate Somerville website, where they still have some left.
The shoes that I wore for the perfect T-shirt shoot are on sale at Anthropologie. They have about 4 different sizes left but are selling fast!
Hey y'all, I hope you had a great weekend! I think I went to HG Sply 3 times in 36 hours. The kale salad and lemonade are my favorite. I also got to spend some time with friends, both new and old. It was a really good weekend.
Alright, let's talk about this jumpsuit. I saw it online a couple months ago and thought that it was adorable. My plan was to wait for it to go on sale. One day I was looking at beauty products from Goop and there it was! On sale! It was one of those situations where it's final sale, only 1 remaining. The size listed was a size I can wear, but only on a good day. Should I take a chance and order it or keep waiting to see if other retailers mark it down? I guess I could exercise, maybe go on walks in the evenings if it doesn't fit...(these are the things that go through my head when I find something I like). I decided to order it. They delivered it to Dallas. I opened the package and saw that what they sent was one size smaller than the size listed on the Goop website. Oh Lord. I was so sad! I waited two whole days to even try it on. I wanted it to fit, but knew that I had to keep it either way. Final sale and all. Turns out that the tag must be wrong, because it fits. For the record, I was prepared to start walking in the evenings if it didn't.
The good news for you is that another retailer just marked it down, 40%! You can click on the picture below to be taken to that page to shop. They still have sizes Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large.
The Rebecca Taylor La Vie line has some really cute jumpsuits this season. These are a few of my favorites:
I found this navy blue La Vie jumpsuit on sale at Nordstrom. The navy blue jumpsuit has sleeves, which a lot of women prefer.
The pink and white earrings that I'm wearing are Brynn Hudson. I've linked some similar earrings of hers below:
La Vie is a line that’s under the Rebecca Taylor brand. NYC cool meets Parisian chic, according to them. I wasn’t sure whether to get this dress in white or navy. If you get the navy dress you could wear it year round, with tights once the temperature drops. It’s one of those dresses you can easily keep for five years.
Last week I asked the following question: What color eyeshadow looks best on people with dark brown eyes? I think I've used some shade of champagne, ivory, or gold since the 7th grade. It was time for a change. Quite a few people reached out and told me to try purple. I headed to NorthPark to find purple eyeshadow. After looking at a few different options, I decided to try Mac, Ready to Party. It's a light shade of purple, almost lilac. I used it for church this morning for the first time and it's really pretty. What color eye shadow do you use?
The hat is from Preston & Olivia. It's available in MineralGreen, DesertSand, or Azalea.
This t-shirt has almost 300 reviews. The reviews and the great price made me buy it in neon pink almost three years ago. I bought that pink t-shirt and a pair of silver pants to wear together for a weekend getaway. Looking back...maybe the neon pink and silver combo was a bit much. That’s ok. I was really proud of that outfit. Fast forward a few years and here I am with the same shirt, different color. I tried to go with a neutral this time. Less neon, ya know? It’s on sale right now for $17 if you use the code HOORAY when you check out. The warm canary option is cute, and so is deep peri. Of course they have it in black, white, and grey. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
