Cooler weather is right around the corner. Soon you’ll be packing away your sleeveless tops and opting for light jackets and a blouse with some sort of sleeve.
I found this cream colored blouse on sale at Club Monaco. Not only is it on sale, it’s an extra 25% off the sale price if you use code LABORDAY19 when you checkout online. I ordered a size Medium. Their clothes tend to run small. I only own a few items from Club Monaco but I can tell you that their quality is great and you’ll be able to keep these pieces for years.
I also ordered this black dress once I saw that it’s on sale. The extra 25% off the sale price applies to this piece as well. I ordered a size Medium. I think a Small would have worked but I don’t want it to be fitted and show every single line of what I’m wearing underneath. This will be an easy piece to carry into fall.
This set of Rachael Ray baking sheets is on sale for $29. If you use the code WKND when you checkout online it will bring your total down to $23. Twenty three dollars for 3 cookie sheets!
Originally, this set was priced at $59! I would say $23 is a pretty good deal. Be sure you choose in store pickup in order to get around having to pay for shipping.
I purchased this set several weeks back. The only baking sheet I had before was given to me by my Mom. I don’t cook very often but I am proud to say I’ve got the baking thing down. I can make a mean cookie!
Several retailers are having sales this weekend for Labor Day. Macy’s is one of them. The set of glasses I shared with you last week are also on sale for $15.
I took a short break from blogging back in July and it has been difficult to get back in the swing of things. Before that break, sharing details about my life had become a habit. I’ve been posting, writing, and sharing stories with you since the fall of 2016. I love to share, I wouldn’t continue on this path if I didn’t. There are times though when I wish I could hide. That sounds dramatic but it’s true. Through SometimeSaturday you are able to see all sides. The good, the bad, and the ugly. That’s intimidating.
At the beginning of July I took a whole week off in order to spend time with my family. That break allowed me to recharge and get away from my typical tasks. By the time I got back to Dallas I longed to keep to myself. That feeling of safety when I was back home is something I wish I felt day to day. I decided to keep my new apartment and new relationship to myself. Somehow that made everything feel even more exciting. It felt like mine and no one else’s.
I am finally (at a slow pace that I apologize for) starting to share more and more, little by little. Just like you’re used to. Especially those of you who have followed this fashion blog since the beginning. I’m just a regular woman with good days and bad. A great amount of confidence offset by days of self doubt. I appreciate those of you who continue to follow along. Those who tell my Mom how much you enjoy reading my blog posts. Those of you who send sweet messages/texts/emails when you use one of my links to purchase an item you saw on SometimeSaturday.
I most likely will never have a million followers or be able to share 20 items at a time like other bloggers, but I do promise to continue to share my story and all of the things that make me feel most confident. We all deserve to look and feel our very best. I have a letter that my grandma wrote to me years ago framed on my desk at work. It reads “Enjoy every day for you deserve all the happiness in the world. I love you.” It’s a nice reminder that I have some pretty powerful people in my corner, people who are rooting for me and want me to be the best I can be. That’s what I wish for you. I hope you’re able to enjoy each day and I hope you’re able to experience the happiness you deserve.
They FINALLY marked this down! The model is wearing an XS. Free 2 day shipping, no code needed.
I found these shoes on sale online. It was one of those only 1 size left, last pair in stock type of situations. And what do ya know...that size happened to be just a half size away from what I wear.
I took a chance and ordered them. The closest thing I have to shoes like this are a pair that I received back in 2012 y’all! They were a gift from an ex boyfriend. I know, I know, I should have gotten rid of them a long time ago but those too were from Neiman Marcus and they are too good to toss.
The new pair pictured above were just a little too big. I asked my Dad if he could add another hole to the strap using a tool I found on Amazon. He said he would try. I brought the shoes home with me last weekend and it worked! I can wear them without walking right out of my shoes. I can’t wait to wear them to church and the office. The tool I found on Amazon is linked below. It works on purses, shoes, and belts.
All clothes are 20% off this weekend. Some of the new arrivals for fall are marked down 30%. They’re also offering free shipping no matter the size of your order. You usually have to order $150 worth of stuff to get them to ship to you for free.
I went ahead and ordered this maroon dress. If you’ve had your eye on anything, be sure to get it before the end of the weekend. This is one of the best deals Anthro offers year round.
I hope you have a good weekend and you get to spend some time with the ones you love most!
A&M’s first game is only a week away (can I get a hallelujah)! I’m thinking I might actually wear maroon this year instead of wearing white. I need to quit being so silly. I’ve been on the lookout for maroon pieces to add little by little. Of course some of the items I like most are pricey. I’m going to wait until those go on sale. Hopefully they’ll still have my size by the time that takes place. I don’t want to buy t-shirts. I need stuff I can wear to work and church in order to get the most use out of it. Here are a few of the items (in case you’re an Aggie as well).
Up until last week I only had one set of glasses for the kitchen. Six from a set that my Mom gave me and two plastic cups I picked up at Target one weekend.
I found this set online and decided to order a set of 4. I thought the shape was interesting and I like that they’re not super sized like one of those cups from 7 Eleven.
Right now the set of 4 is on sale for less than $20. I believe they’ll go back to full price on August 21st. If you like them be sure to place your order by tomorrow evening. Macy’s usually does not offer free shipping unless your purchase totals $50. Because of that, I usually have my Macy’s orders shipped to the NorthPark location here in Dallas. Once your order is ready for pickup, they’ll email you to let you know. I try not to pay for shipping, especially when it’s something like this and you’re getting a really great deal!
Ya’ll have a great week : )
The ability to pursue without growing tired.
Is there an area in your life where you’re relentless? I sure hope so. My challenge for myself this week is to be relentless. It’s so common to grow tired and weary and eventually withdraw from the race to take an easier path. Don’t do that. Hang in there. You’re capable of anything and you can achieve whatever your heart desires.
I believe in you. God believes in you. His love is relentless and I hope you know that.
