Last week on Instagram I made an announcement that Angela Morris Designs would be on the blog again. I am so excited to finally share these earrings with you! These Labradorite barrels are so fun to wear and they are so easy to style. I wear them to work, church, and brunch with the girls. I decided to pair them with my baby blue Club Monaco top, and a pair of dark denim jeans for this post. When I wear these earrings, I usually wear my hair pulled back, to really show them off. I have also worn them with my dark green Anthropologie chinos and a plain black tee. They also look great with my velvet pieces for fall. You can dress them up or down depending on the occasion. Can you tell that I absolutely love them and I want these earrings in every color? The great news is that they’re also available in Quartz. These earrings are unlike anything else I own. Because of that I find myself wanting to wear them more and more.

I am obsessed with this necklace. And how perfect would this necklace be for everyday ?
I own one suit, other than this one. It's a black Theory suit that I've had for a couple of years. The problem is that I bought that Theory suit when I was thin, so unless I'm on my A game, them pants ain't zippin ya'll.
This lavender look is from JCrew. The blazer and pants are sold separately. If an all lavender look is too over the top, you could get either the pants or the blazer and slowly start to work it into your office rotation. Surprisingly, lavender is easy to pair with most of my neutral pieces for work. I get so many compliments on this suit. It's different, but not lime green or anything crazy.

My pink Brynn Hudson earrings are back in stock! Use the link above to buy them, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to BreastCancer.org
Why does it take me so long to find sweaters? The truth is that I’m very picky. They have to be soft. I don’t want them to be too tight, or too long. I’ve narrowed my wish list down to seven sweaters. Hopefully you can see yourself in one of them this fall.
I was able to go to my first Dallas Cowboys game at AT&T stadium earlier this season with my boyfriend and his family. It was so cool! The Cowboys won that game. I think it’s because I was there. I told my Dad that I need to go to all of the home games. Since it’s best for the team, ya know?
There are stores all over the stadium full of Cowboys gear. I don’t go to many games, so I wanted to get a shirt as a souvenir. The one that I chose is pictured above. It's so comfy. I love the neckline. I thought it was a little edgy. I've been wearing it with my Under Armour leggings on the weekends. You can buy this shirt using the link listed at the bottom of this post : )
Here are a few of my favorite Dallas Cowboys tees you can get online:

Last weekend I met eight other fashion bloggers at the cutest little coffee shop tucked away in the Harwood District. If you're in the Dallas area, stop by Magnolia's next time you're craving a cup of coffee. It's adorable!
This was my first time attending an event like this. I don't know any other fashion bloggers. I wasn't sure what the event would be like, but I knew my outfit had to look good. Everyone in Dallas dresses to the nines so I walked in the coffee shop and had no idea which table was full of bloggers. I had to go to the counter to ask. Kind of an embarrassing start, but it got better. Everyone was so sweet and sincere. I was nervous about going, and I almost talked myself out of going. I'm so glad that I put myself out there and because of it I was able to meet some really great girls.
I got this dress on sale from Club Monaco. They're having a promotion right now if you spend at least $150 you get 25% off of your purchase. Their items are a little pricey, so it wont take long to reach the 150 mark. This dress is also available in white. I love the bows on the sleeves, and I'm excited to wear it with tights and booties once the weather cools down. I paired it with a white Janessa Leone hat and my Keds. After grad school, I moved to Houston for work. I remember the very first pair of business casual shoes that I purchased. Suede Tory Burch ballet flats. They were tan with a gold Tory Burch emblem. A lot of girls had Tory Burch flats in college. I did not. I was so proud of those shoes. I took a picture of them the night that I bought them and still have that picture saved on my phone. Five years later! I added the pic to my Insta-stories if you want to see what they looked like : )
Tory Burch offers such great shoes for work. I tried to select classic styles for yall that will last several seasons. I wore those ballet flats for years. Use the arrows to scroll through my favorite Tory Burch business casual shoes for this week's What I Want Wednesday.
Sometimes I miss my church in Houston. The music. The location. The sermons. Oh and did I mention that the pastor is an Aggie? I have a church here in Dallas but it's not the same. Houston's First Baptist Church still feels like home. I was kind of missing the familiar on Sunday and decided to watch one of Gregg Matte's sermons online. Here's the link in case you're interested:
Click on Finding an Anchor in Our Anxiety and the video should come up.
The sermon was about fear and the different ways that fear can impact your life. Maybe you can't fall sleep. Maybe you wake up in the middle of the night worried. Maybe you have terrible headaches or back pain because of it. You have to find out what you're afraid of. Ask yourself. What am I so afraid of? Once you answer the question, give it to God. Gregg mentioned that we are fearful because of unbelief and the unknown. We worry because we think God isn't involved in a certain aspect of our life. We worry about tomorrow. What will happen? What won't happen? Will I be good enough? Will everything be ok? Give it to God. That's what I learned from the message yesterday. I'll let Gregg explain the anchor. Once you watch the sermon, you'll understand the need for an anchor.
Thanks for reading. I promise there are more fashion posts coming your way. This blog was built on my love for fashion, but I would be lying if I led anyone to believe that's all I care about. Posts like these are made in an effort to show you what else goes on in my life.
Do I own a navy blue blazer? No. Do I own a hot pink Barbie blazer? You betcha. I bought this blazer ages ago at Dillard's and have worn it over and over and over again. I clean my closet out pretty regularly. Somehow this Barbie blazer makes the cut time after time. I paired it with my pink satin wrap flats, a light pink tee, and some white jeans. Do you have a blazer in a bold color? Do tell!
