Thanksgiving has come and gone and now it’s time to put your serious shopping pants on and take advantage of some of the best deals of the year! A ton of items previously featured on SometimeSaturday are on major sale, so I’ll be sharing those links. I’ll also share some of my favorites that I currently have in my cart. Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving and I hope you get to spend some time with the ones you love most!
Club Monaco - Spend $150 get 25% off, spend $250 get 30% off, or spend $400 get 35% off. My embellished grey sweater is such a classic piece. It’s also available in Navy blue. My baby blue striped bow
blouse is on sale for less than $80. My grey ruffle sweater tank is on sale for less than $100. Any combination of these 3 items will get you 25% off with code ShopFriday. I’ve had my eye on a couple of coats from Club Monaco since August, patiently waiting on them to go on sale. This classic coat is currently in my cart.
Anthropologie - 30% off everything, no code needed. My embellished black pullover is just over $50 with today’s deal. I’m wearing a size small for reference. I also love this powder blue dress. This sheer Snow White dress would look great for a fancy dinner with the girls! I know that this glitter skirt is obnoxious and over the top but gosh it’s good!!
A family friend of mine has her own business, The Market Grace. Your entire purchase is 30% off today with code Celebrate. I can’t decide between this purse or this gorgeous strap for my Canon.
Shopbop - 20% off orders over $200, 25% off orders over $500, and 30% off orders over $800. Our Thanksgiving is over and I’m scrolling through the Shopbop sale. I wanted to share a few items that are currently in my shopping cart. A metallic corset. Need I say more? I have to find outfits for holiday parties and this embroidered tunic would be perfect with your hair pulled back and a bold lip.
My one shoulder ruffle blouse is available in black and white here.
This Prada bag is on my wish list. It reminds me of that song Cool Girl. I don’t own any Prada purses, which is why I tracked down this embellished cross body bag.
I also have my eye on this hot pink number for New Years Eve. In a perfect world, I would pair it with these Sophia Webster heels . Look at these pink Givenchy heels!
One of my friends gave me this cold shoulder ruffle blouse. As soon as I saw it I knew that I wanted to feature it on the blog. My Mom picked the location for the shoot. In summary I look good only because of my Mom and my sweet friend.
Cold shoulder tops have been around for a while. They’re easy to wear during winter (when a girl gets tired of sweaters). Most of them are a little on the dressy side. All of the styles I mention in this post are on sale. This blouse is most like the one I’m wearing. I like the color of this one . If you aren’t afraid to wear prints, this one is for you. Here’s a similar style in white and then this one is available in blue or pink .
My shoes aren’t available anymore but I was able to find two similar styles that I would loveee to have in my closet. This pair is from the same designer, and these are a little over the top. Bows on bows. One last thing. You can find the pants from the pic here .
My embellished sweater from Anthropologie is 20% off today!! You can find it online here .
I thought I would go through the sale and share my favorite sweaters and tops (all are on sale today at Anthropologie).
Sweaters: This sweater looks like something I would wear. Such an easy piece to pair with leggings . I think this wrap sweater would be perfect for date night. Then turn it around for a day at the office. You know I love pink ! I’m torn between this pink Anthro sweater and a similar one from Shopbop.
Tops: I think that this top would be such a great piece to have on hand for holiday parties! This black and white blouse could be worn year round. How adorable is this silk bow blouse ?
You can find my sweatshirt here .
It’s available in blush here , and there are a few more sizes available in white here . I also saw that’s it’s on sale at Dillard’s here . I have to mention my favorite hair stylist in Dallas, Darlene, because she is the reason my hair looks so great in this pic. If only I could have her style my hair every day!! She’s so talented. Hope y’all have a happy Friday!
I’m going to share three items that I have my eye on, and duplicates of each item. I’m not the kind of girl who has Chanel and Tom Ford in the closet, which is why I have to find more affordable options of designer pieces.
First up is this DVF sweater . I posted it last week on my Insta stories. I think it would be perfect with grey slacks, faded jeans, or even white pants. Such a cute take on a casual outfit, and a bit more interesting than your plain old tan sweater. The more affordable option is this Alice + Olivia sweater that’s on sale.
The second item on this week’s list is this Marc Jacobs top . How adorable are those pearls? I want it in the cream color, but based on availability it looks like the black option has been more popular. I found a look a like item from H&M . Another possibility is this sweater from Zara .
The last item for this week is a pair of pearl earrings. I’ve heard that these are great. These aren’t your typical pearl earrings but they’re adorable. I have a few pairs of earrings from Francesca’s and I always get so many compliments!
There’s a song on Kelsea Ballerini’s new record called Inbetween. It’s a song about being right in the middle of two seasons in life. This Club Monaco tank is a great piece for this in-between weather when you can’t really wear your summer tops but it’s not cold enough for lots of layers. This tank feels like a sweater and it is so soft! The only thing I own that’s softer is this coat . I wasn’t 100% sure about grey, but when I realized how soft it was I thought I should give it a try. I’m glad I did. I like to wear this tank with faded denim jeans or cream colored dress pants.
Happy Friday friends! I hope everyone is having a great week. The temperature in Texas dropped to forty degrees and I can finally wear some of my cute coats. Teddy bear coats are in style this year and I am completely on board! They’re so cozy and warm! It’s kind of like a blanket that’s socially acceptable to wear around town lol. You can use this link to shop my teddy bear coat . There are more sizes available here and here . The color I’m wearing is called Oatmeal. It’s also available in Black and Copper. I thought it was a fun alternative to my usual long coats. This one is a little more on the casual side, yet not so college (like a Northface or Columbia). Last time I checked they still had some available in store here at NorthPark Mall in Dallas. Just go see how soft it is and I’m telling you, you’ll be sold.
I was able to find a few more Teddy Bear coats that aren’t Free People. Like this one . And just for fun (only in my dreams do I wear brands like this) but look at this pink one and this Tom Ford coat too! They’re so fun. Y’all have a great day : )
This week has been one of those weeks where nothing has really gone as planned. So this post will fall in line with that theme. I originally was going to post three pricey items that I have my eye on, and affordable options for each one. You can barely tell the difference. Which is the coolest thing ever. I’ll share that post next week.
Real Life: Right now I’m watching the CMA Awards and eating milk chocolate chocolate chips. Kelsea Ballerini is performing. Gosh she’s gorgeous. I’ve had some of her songs on repeat this week. Roses. High School. Peter Pan. I Hate Love Songs. Miranda Lambert is also one of my favs. A few of my other go to songs this week have been from her latest record: To Learn Her & Pushin Time.
Some things don’t really go as planned, like this post. The post for Friday is amazzzzing. Hopefully it will make up for this unplanned post about my bad week. I hope y’all like it and I hope you’re having a great week.
