Until a few weeks ago, I took pride in the fact that I did not own a cardigan. I’m not sure who told me they’re terrible or why I hated them, but somewhere along the way I decided that cardigans are a cop out. I always thought they looked a little frumpy. The opposite of classic.
I saw this cardigan online at Anthropologie and waited ever so patiently for it to go on sale. I liked the length. The length and the edge that the length provides made me take a chance. It went on sale, and I dove into the deep end of the cardigan girl world. I love it and am on the hunt for a few more. My usual jackets for fall are blazers and of course coats. I’m hoping to add a few more cardigans to my wardrobe by the time the Holidays are here.
Because this cardigan is from Anthropologie, I’m only going to share cardigans from that store. I trust that they know how to make pieces that have a bit of an edge and these pieces will keep you from looking frumpy. Frumpy makes you grumpy, and we can’t have that now can we?
