These last few weeks I’ve been on fire for a few things. One of those things has me wondering what your dream is. When you picture your ideal life. When you picture the best version of yourself, what does she look like? What does she spend her time doing? Where does she live?
Im learning that everyone has a dream. Deep down. Most are afraid to admit what that dream is and are caught off guard when asked about it. God forbid it never happen and people actually know you failed. I recently realized that failure is just part of the process. Every single great achievement, every single best in the business type of company was built on top of failure. You fail and then you try again. You fail and you work harder. You fail and you work smarter. It makes the success so sweet. That failure and the work you put in make the victories (no matter how small) feel like the World Series.
So what’s your dream? What’s the thing you wish for when you go to sleep each night? What’s the thing that seems impossible? I would love to know what that dream looks like for you. If you want to share, send me an email at Angeline.Holub@sometimesaturday.com. If you want to keep it close to your heart, no worries. All I ask is that you quit believing the lie that you’re not smart enough. That you don’t have the time. If it’s important to you, you’ll find a way to make that dream your reality.
Almost every year I ask Santa for socks. Don’t worry, I have other items on my list. I just don’t like buying socks. It’s kind of like buying tissues or paper towels. I know I need them, I just get annoyed when I have to spend money on such things.
On the rare occasion when I have to buy socks on my own, I search until I find my favorite kind on sale. I own several of these Under Armour no show socks and just ordered one more set of 6.
The dry fit t-shirts I wear on the weekends are on sale right now for $10.
There have 4 colors to choose from. Let me know which ones you snag!

In Texas, most of the dresses we wear for summer are short. It’s a million degrees so you can understand the need for a little air flow. What’s tough is once you get inside the office, the church, the restaurant...you’re freezing because they have the AC cranked up. This maxi dress is lightweight, lined, and makes you feel like a princess. The dress moves in a such a beautiful way when you walk. You won’t pass out walking to your car and you’ll also be comfortable inside. Win win.
When I was in high school my outfit for church each week was a big deal. I wanted to look my best and feel good. I’ll also admit that I felt the need to wear something brand new every single Sunday. When I felt like I didn’t have anything to wear I would tell my Mom and Dad “I can’t go.” The drama was next level. I’m sure if I have a daughter someday she’ll be like that times 10. What goes around comes around. Lord help me.
It took 15 years for me to realize that I don’t need something brand new to feel good. I don’t need to have the best outfit in the room to make an impression. Over time I learned to take what I already own, those clothes that I’ve already worn (gasp!!) and create new looks to wear on Sunday. The outfit you see in the pictures above is what I wore to church on Sunday. Striped pants, a crisp white button down, and block heel sandals. All great pieces for summer, some I’m sure you already own. Scroll through and click on the pictures below when you see an item worth adding to your wardrobe. Something you can keep for years and create countless outfits.
Let’s play a game. Pick one, and let me know. Fancy or casual? Long or short? Whatever your preference, this peony print dress is one you need to add to your wardrobe as soon as possible. The dress runs true to size. I’m wearing a size 4. I paired it with tan sandals and pink lipstick. Click the picture of this dress below to buy your very own.
I can feel summer getting closer and I AM PUMPED. When I was a kid summer was always the best part of the year. I got to spend more time with my family, go swimming, and eat Flinstones push pops from HEB. My brother and I would share the push pops equally so no one got stuck with too many purples (orange was by far the best). Do you have any memories from summertime? Oh to be a kid again : )
When I saw this blouse it instantly reminded me of summer. The fun times and the freedom. I’m wearing a Medium in Ivory. They also have it in one other print that reminds me of Tory Burch and the patterns she creates. This retailer usually charges shipping but for two days only shipping is free, no code needed. Order this blouse and anything else you might need from them to get ready for the summer.
I’ve lived in Texas my entire life, so this might just be a Texas kind of way...but I can tell you without a doubt that TX women wear denim. All the time. Denim button downs, denim jackets, and jeans of course.
The denim button down I owned before this one had a lighter wash (it was a lighter shade of blue). I saw this in store and liked the raw edge at the bottom and was sold once I tried it on. It’s so much softer than the others like it. Usually denim can be a little stiff and starchy. Not this baby. I paired it with white pants but it could be cute with black bottoms, or this yellow skirt.
