SometimeSaturday turns two today!
This little fashion blog of mine has been a blessing, and a nice break from what used to be my typical type of day. It allows me to connect with family, friends, and readers discussing fashion and those special moments in life that require an off the chart outfit. I’ve been able to spend more time with my Mom taking photos in different states and cities. I’ve met so many sweet souls at events and Sunday brunch. The list goes on and on.
SometimeSaturday has also taught me quite a few lessons. Perhaps one of the most important lessons that I’ve learned is that you don’t need to be tan, you don’t need to have hair like Jaclyn Smith, and you don’t have to be a size zero to share the things you love. It’s easy to think that you need to look perfect and be perfect in order to share your life with others. It’s still a work in progress, but I am learning little by little. I’m learning that yes, I am good enough, and so are you.
