How do you decide what shoes you need for each season? Do you plan and do you stop to think if you have anything similar in your closet when you come across the most fabulous boots you’ve ever seen?
I wanted to share with you the shoes I’ll be wearing for fall and winter and how I make my few pairs go a long way. Quality over quantity is the name of the game.
You need at least one pair of closed toe flats. I would suggest the color you buy is black. This is your practical pair of shoes for the season. They won’t hurt your feet. You won’t be reluctant to put them on in the morning. They’re stylish and can be worn with your pencil skirts, your dresses, jeans, and business casual types of pants. You’ll get your money’s worth with these shoes.
Next up, you’ll need a pair of tan colored booties. I suggest booties over boots because they’re more versatile. Boots make such a statement, booties are better at blending in. Which means you can wear them more often without people realizing you’re wearing the same shoes over and over. Last year I found my tan pair of booties at Target. This year I switched them out for a pair I found at Macy’s. The pair from Macy’s are high quality and will last me more than one year.
Last but not least, you need a gray, bone, or ivory pair of booties. Some of the things you choose to wear won’t work with black or tan colored shoes.
All 3 pairs of shoes are on sale. If you buy 1 pair, it’s 30% off. If you buy 2 pairs, they’re each 40% off. The sale ends on Monday so don’t delay. The shoes will most likely still be in stock, but you’ll be stuck paying full price for each of them. I ordered all 3 in my usual size 7 and they all fit just fine.
